Welcome to the official website of Institute of Zakat Research and Innovation (Institut Penyelidikan dan Inovasi Zakat - IPIZ), Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM). IPIZ was established in 2018 as one of the University Center of Excellence (UCoE) in UUM, funded by Lembaga Zakat Negeri Kedah (LZNK).

IPIZ's main mission is to collaborate inclusively with scholars, industry practitioners, and policy makers to lead the development and spread knowledge related to zakat through research, consultation, and innovation for the development of the community.

Thus, this website aim is to provide information on zakat research and innovation to current and potential researchers, stakeholders and the community.
